Abstract:

In hydraulic engineering, deep-seated rupture zones have been discovered in some dam areas, such asIt is a new geological structure phenomenon. deep-seated rupture zones are usually situated in the pleistoseismicHistoric earthguakes frequently occur along the active structure zone.Deep seated rupture zones are 300 m or more beneath the surface, far exceeding the depth of surface unloadingThis paper discussed the seismologic reasons for the occurrence of deep seated rupture zones according

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 3,   Pages 11-20

Abstract: and the fissure zone. The occurrence of the deep fissure zone is similar to that of a group of NE directional faults in thisAll these observable facts indicate that the deep fissure zone was perhaps caused by the recent activityof the faults,  which generated seismi waves and created the deep fissure zone when the stressThe genesis of deep fissure zone has been observed in the ground nuclear explosion and rock dynamics

Hong HE, Jianguo ZHOU,

Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2010, Volume 4, Issue 3,   Pages 263-269 doi: 10.1007/s11705-009-0276-4

Abstract: Research on the extrusion of natural polymers (food, feed, etc.) is relatively new due to the complex physicochemical transformations of raw materials, although plastics melt conveying and transport have been well studied. The structure and composition, rheological behavior as well as extrusion processing of natural polymer are much more complicated. In this study, a quasi-three-dimensional (3D) fluid flow model for non-Newtonian, non-isothermal and undeveloped temperature was developed, the model prediction being in reasonably good agreement with the experiment. Results show that the influence of moisture content, among other process variables, is the most significant, followed by screw speed. Some interaction exists between these two variables and the screw speed effect becomes marginal at high moisture contents. In addition, viscosity change in the channel was studied.
